Ag Apps & App Central
Trimble’s Ag Apps give agriculture manufacturers, resellers and other developers the opportunity to submit mobile apps for use on our Android-based displays. Farmers then use the App Central icon on their display to browse and access apps that are most relevant for their farming operation, language and regional compliance requirements.
App Central provides a safe environment to distribute apps that have been tested and approved by Trimble, ensuring there is no interference with core precision farming applications and operations.
Software Integrations/APIs
Trimble's software solutions combine precision farming technology and data management in a single place – giving the grower a total farm management tool to support their operational workflows.
As a member of our Ag Developer Network, developers can engage with Trimble's software Application Program Interfaces (APIs) to send data files between independent applications and Trimble software and in-field displays, including prescription files, as-applied maps, boundaries and other precision farming information.
Precision-IQ Extensions

Precision-IQ Extensions provide independent business partners with the opportunity to bring unique, supplemental capabilities to the Trimble Android-based display family. Different from simply adding an app to App Central, Precision-IQ Extensions add custom functionality to Precision-IQ, our proprietary precision ag operating system – allowing farmers to use your app from the run screen in conjunction with other functionality, such as guidance and steering or flow and application control.
