For variable rate application of fungicide and nutrients, the GreenSeeker® system allows on-the-go zone management by measuring the vigor level of the vines. Trimming, cultivating and grass seeding between the rows can be adapted as needed to treat variability. A variable rate of fungicide can be applied based on the vigor of the vines, thereby reducing the amount used and cost.

Trimble displays with Field-IQ crop input control system and Trimble Ag Software Mapping software can create application reports for traceability, and automatically turn on and off the application when leaving or entering the rows. Add a GreenSeeker® system and capture when, what and how much was sprayed, then create a spray map that can be shared as needed.
Control rate of herbicide and fungicide application
Trimble displays with Field-IQ crop input control system can control the rate and/or sections of most applications including spraying, spreading, drilling and planting.
With the Trimble WeedSeeker® spot spray system, vineyard managers can improve the consistency of application and eliminate spray drift. Attach a WeedSeeker system to a vehicle already being used in the vineyard. It senses if a weed is present and signals a spray nozzle to deliver a precise amount of fungicide or herbicide, spraying only the weed, not the bare ground or the vine. This system is particularly beneficial for spraying underneath the canopy where it is not easy to access and can be used for chemical suckering. This provides significant savings and also allows the operator to combine spraying with other work being done in the field, reducing the number of operations.
