Precise spacing for planting vines and trees
The Remote Output feature of the Trimble FmX® integrated display allows you to plant individual grapevines or trees at desired and constant distance with RTK accuracy (1 inch) to improve pattern uniformity and planting counts. Set a specific distance between each row and tree, and each plant position will be recorded for future operations, such as installation of strip-till drip irrigation.
Creation of auto-steerable rows for ease of operations
Advanced Guidance Line Management from Trimble’s Trimble Ag Software allows you to follow pre-planned A-B lines, so you can plant with ease. Create and edit steerable guidance lines within Farm Works Software® solutions and import the data into the FmX® integrated display. During planting, record the actual position of furrow lines for later use during harvest.
Reduction of labor costs and increased efficiency
With a Trimble® display and the Autopilot™ automated steering system, the operator can concentrate on the important job at hand, such as ensuring the trees are being placed precisely and nutrients are being applied. Decrease your operator stress and fatigue so they can concentrate on what’s important—accuracy and efficiency.
